Thank You for Helping to Preserve Petroleum History

I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude for those who have supported the society’s energy education mission since 2003. It has been a long and sometimes difficult financial journey, but the American Oil & Gas Historical Society website has made real progress finding new readers. AOGHS is dedicated to providing unbiased, updated research and educational links for students, teachers, researchers, journalists, and others interested the history of fossil fuels.

AOGHS research, articles, and images help educate thousands of people about the petroleum industry’s often neglected history. Our articles offer an important context for teaching the modern business of meeting America’s energy needs. Our weekly “Oil & Gas History News” is a chronology of U.S. petroleum exploration history and milestones that have shaped the modern energy industry.

As the society sets its sights on expansion and new energy education partnerships, please continue to help preserve U.S. petroleum history by becoming and AOGHS supporting member. You also can make a PayPal donation.

Thank you!
